In our neighborhood, we are blessed by businesses and organizations that are actually working to make a difference in the world and in our local community. One of those organizations that is looking to invest in our local community with resources, is Magnolias of Lancaster. They are planning a free resourceful support group on memory loss.
Magnolias of Lancaster is a residential home in our neighborhood, for those struggling and suffering with memory impairing diseases such as Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Recently, Magnolias of Lancaster has began partnering with the Lancaster Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association to provide a resourceful support group for family and friends that are directly affected by dementia.
The support group launches on Wednesday, March 8th with a look at “The Basics of Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease.” There will be an optional buy cheap seroquel light dinner buffet from 5:00-5:30pm. Then the presentation with take place at 5:45pm to 7:00pm.
The resourceful support group plans to cover the following; “When someone struggles with memory loss, the unanswered question is what is the cause of the memory loss. When someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another related dementia, family and friends generally have many questions. This program will cover the difference between Dementia and Alzheimer’z, the symptoms/warning signs, how the brain disease impacts the person’s abilities throughout the stage of the disease, treatment options, caregiver issues, and communication strategies. Join together for this resourceful evening at Magnolias of Lancaster.”
